Friday night played host to Story Leagues‘ triumphant return to the Black Cat, this time with the help of the Harikaraoke Band for Story League Sings!
Tasked with telling a tale related to a romance gone wrong, each performer then followed up with a karaoke rendition related to their plight. The theme: When love goes wrong, sing it so right!
Jennifer Tress may have stolen the show, intertwining
her story with an extended version of Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know,” but did Sampson McCormick really say/sing “beat him with a flip flop”?!
Sounds like love really hurts.
