Inside Casa Luca’s First Anniversary

Earlier this month, Casa Luca feted its first anniversary with an intimate gathering to raise a glass of Peach Sangria, Prosecco or Sangiovese to a successful inaugural year.CLA27

Guests enjoyed signature Casa Luca “puffs” filled with herb ricotta cheese, Erbazzone Tart (a savory tart of greens and Parmesan), Porchetta Ascolana (a crispy roasted suckling pig), Pane Carasau (a thin, crispy flatbread), Lobster Farro, and CLA7Deviled Eggs “Tonnato.”

Rain kept the guest list of regulars, close friends and family from mingling on the patio, so instead, they gathered around a Chocolate Sin cake filled with a soft chocolate mousse and bits of crunchy hazelnuts.  A sugar color glaze on the cake featured the Casa Luca logo — which pays homage to Chef/Owner Fabio Trabocchi’s son, Luca, above right.
