Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Latham Hotel Liquidation Sale Open to the Public

Ever slept so good on that hotel mattress you wish you could take it home? Well, you’re in luck! The mattress — and every other moveable piece of furniture and decor from Georgetown’s Latham Hotel is walking out the door for a steal.

To prepare for the extensive renovation and conversion of the historic Latham Hotel, the place is literally being liquidated, with every piece — down to the decor and the dishes — sold to the public.

Hotel Content Liquidators LLC is handling the particulars, with a sale going on now.

A sampling of the offerings is located in the hotel’s former lobby… with sofas selling for under $300, end tables for $19 and $5 older electronics.
