Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. You’ll Want to Join In on This Sunday Supper Club

IMG_0225How does three “courses” for $35 sound… not just during Restaurant Week, but every Sunday!?  Pretty scrumptious to us, too!

Juniper Restaurant is launching a Sunday Supper Club that will feature a three for $35 dinner special from 5:30 pm to 9:00 p.m. every Sunday evening.

Inspired by local favorites, Executive Chef Mark Timms and Restaurant Chef Mariah Tysz will offer an artfully prepared choice of appetizers and entrées, and you can choose any combination.  (A glass of specially selected wine or a non-alcoholic such as Juniper’s house-made ginger ale are perfectly acceptable “courses” in our book!)

Spending much of their time sourcing the freshest ingredients at nearby farmers markets, Juniper’s dynamic duo takes local to the next level… like featuring herbs grown in Juniper’s own garden and honey harvested from the rooftop hives are used in many soups, salads, sauces and desserts.

This is definitely a club worth joining.
