Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. The Royal Treatment: Prince Michael of Kent Comes to Town

His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent, the first cousin of the reigning Queen of England and the god son of late President Franklin D. Roosevelt, crossed the pond this week for… some kids!


The itinerary included making his very first visit to the British School of Washington Wednesday morning, where Prince Michael toured the facility, spoke with staff and even stopped to read stories to the nursery pupils.  


But while education is a crowning achievement, this royal scoop isn’t just about scholarship!  Our spies tell us that he is excited to be a guest in attendance at William and Kate’s impending nuptials.  He remembers how, at the age of 5, he was serving as page boy at Will’s grandmum’s (then Princess Elizabeth) wedding to Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
