Cupid Cashes in at Hudson Singles Mixer

Cupid’s arrow was aimed at Hudson Tuesday night – shooting straight for the singles as Sunanda Patel and Sara Trab Nielsen organized a Mixer & Date Auction to bid away any Valentine’s Day doldrums.

Eligible bachelors and bachelorettes
helped the pair of do-gooders raise almost $4,000 toward their goals for participation in the annual Fashion for Paws runway show, with crowd favorite Amie Piddington bringing in the highest bid – $750 – from a certain notable bachelor with a big… boat.

But even those who couldn’t ante up enough for their own love cherub still might have gotten lucky.  Attendees played a special sweets version of the game “100,” looking for love with a mate to match their candy quotient.
