Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. KABIN Decades Party Saved By the Belding

What a wacky Wednesday!  Class Government was out of session, but Saved By The Bell star Dennis Haskins, (Mr. Belding) kept Washingtonians in line as he hosted KABIN‘s first ever Decades happy hour, a weekly Wednesday night dance party in a time warp: every passing hour of music corresponding to a different era, from The Temptations to Timberlake.

Pulling KABIN manager Chris Glump out by his ear in mock chastisement reminiscent of his days with Zach, Kelly and Slater, Bell fans just couldn’t get enough — and he agreed to take photos with each and every one of the Alpine-inspired Dupont lounge’s 100+ person crowd.

KABIN partners Vinoda Basnayake, Kunal Shah, Dustin Huynh and Rajeev Subramanian were also on-hand to welcome guests who would twist and shout with 60s sunshine pop at 6 PM, break out their best Bowie during the 70s at 7…
