Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Stars Show in DC for “Interstellar” Premiere

Matthew McConaughey, Christopher Nolan, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, and Emma Thomas were on hand at the National Air & Space Museum Wednesday night as Paramount Pictures presented the Washington, DC premiere of Insterstellar.

The PG-13 film, with run time at nearly three hours, tempted audiences with an out of this world adventure:  Time on Earth is coming to an end, so a team of explorers undertakes a mission to travel beyond our galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars.

Interstellar opened in 35mm, 70mm, 70 mm IMAX on 11/5 and nationwide on 11/7.
