Last Thursday night, K Street Magazine invited the DC area’s most savvy stylistas to join editor K Street Kate for a fashion fete at the NM Last Call location in Congressional Plaza. In addition to deep discounts around the store, attendees each “popped” their own prizes, choosing a balloon filled with extra savings — and a grand prize! — to add more awesome affordability to the evening extravaganza.
Before diving too deeply into the shopping soiree, Kate gave a short trend presentation, showcasing how to wear the season’s top trends and showing off her own most coveted items in the store.
Aidah Fontenot nabbed what’s sure to be her favorite Fall leather jacket. Kimberly Robinson happened upon the season’s best boyfriend-cut jeans. And Deb Fiscella picked the lucky Grand Prize “pop” and spent the evening selecting her favorite item in the store for under $250 — a must-have handbag.
