Inside the 2nd Annual Tigerlily Pajama Glam

The Tigerlily Foundation hosted it’s pinkalicious 2nd Annual Pajama Glam Party in downtown Washington on Saturday.   The fundraiser was not only a super fun party, but also a special place where women and girls could come together to learn about health and wellness in a more pg7relaxed atmosphere.

Hosted by Miss District of Columbia 2013, Bindhu Pamarthi, a Tigerlily Foundation Ambassador, the event featured local celebrities, pageant queens, and health and wellness vendors.  Guests had the chance to learn about breast health awareness while enjoying an afternoon of glam and doing some memorable bonding in pajamas, tiaras, feather boas, and sequins!

pg6Event attendees enjoyed hair and makeup stations, pillow fights, sweet treats, jewelry vendors, zumba, dancing, juicing, healthy treats, manicures, a candy bar, swag bags and more.  Guy Lambert, Radio Host at WPGC 95.5 even hosted a dance contest while DJ Neekola spun dance party tunes.

Pajama Glam is the brainchild of Noelle Karmo, the 10 year-old daughter of breast cancer survivor, Maimah Karmo, who founded the Tigerlily Foundation during her own cancer treatment to provide full life-cycle, service-oriented assistance to young women (15-40) before, during and after breast cancer.
