Saks’ Key to the Cure: Shopping for the Sisterhood

October turns pink with so many events supporting breast cancer… it’s hard to decide what to support — and where your money is going! Last weekend, Saks Fifth Avenue helped you make the decision.

Kicking off a weekend of shopping events, all in support of the Tigerlilly Foundation, a special Saks Annual Key to the Cure Wednesday night Kick-off party brought the faithful out for a shopping soiree — even during a storm!  This private event for a purpose allowed ladies to peruse the store all to themselves while enjoying specialty cocktails and fashions. With 2% of all sales through Sunday, one splurged knowing it went to a good cause. That’s real retail therapy!

Other than the fashion finds, the best part was that some women who were fighting last year attended this year… as survivors. They now give back to the organization: “It’s a sisterhood we didn’t ask for, but so glad we have.”
