Before its 83rd tour, patrons of the annual Georgetown House Tour held their other annual event to recognize the hard work that goes into showing the neighborhood’s hottest homes last week — the much anticipated House Tour Patron’s Party.
Hosted at the Georgetown home of Elizabeth and Jeffrey Powell, the home and garden showing was in preparation of a weekend event that featured eight houses (all that have undergone renovations but retain 
Georgetown’s historic appeal). The kick-off event also provided info on the history of the tour and information on the various charities the house tour (and St. John’s church) have supported over the last 85 years.
House Tour Co-Chairs Barbara Wolf and Colman Riddell were on hand to greet longtime supporters — and fresh faces to the tour — as well as present Elizabeth Powell with a beautiful picture of her home as a 
thank-you for hosting the party.
