Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Fresh from Baltimore, where they played on Sunday, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals performed an exclusive concert for FRESH FM listeners, hosted by the Tommy Show’s Tommy McFly and Kelly Collis Tuesday evening at The Hamilton. The American rock band, comprised of the energetic multi-instrumentalist Grace Potter, Matt Burr, Scott Tournet, guitarist Benny Yurco and bassist Michael Libramento, played a set including their famous 2011 single “Paris (Ooh la la).”
