Free, live music will fill the air and transform the pedestrian experience at lunchtime and during the commute home as the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District (MVT CID) launches a new concert series, “Tunes in the Triangle” in DC’s Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood. Local artists will perform a range from pop to jazz every fourth Thursdays in May, June and July.
The concerts are free and guests are encouraged to pack a picnic, bring a blanket or chair, friends, family, kids and pets. Evening concerts will include popular games – corn hole, hula hoops, bubbles and more – with free lemonade available and food offered for sale by favorite food trucks.
