Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Bendel’s Comes to the Beltway

Gossip Girl groupies might want to find a chair… or a paper bag to breathe into. The rumors are true. Henri Bendel, a New York City icon since 1895, is opening its newest location at Tysons Galleria on November 8, 2012.

Handbags, jewelry and gifts galore — as well as that signature brown and white striped shopping bag — grace this quintessential girl’s shopping-ground.

All this on the heels of the news that GG costume designer (and Bendel’s fan) Eric Daman is headlining Tysons’s Galleria’s ALL ACCESS Fashion events this weekend. Perhaps “Serena” and “Blair” sightings are to come?!
