These renowned London chefs have been inspired by the success of Share Our Strength’s work in the U.S. While in DC, they will have the opportunity to learn more about the strides the organization has made towards ending childhood hunger in America.
“I’m thrilled to host the London Calling dinner,” said chef Charlie Palmer, co-host of the event. “As chefs, we feed people every day and we need to ensure all kids have the healthy food they need, every day. Together, we can make that happen.”
“Everyone has the opportunity to use their time, talents and passion to change someone’s life. Through food, we can make a big impact on the lives of children around the world,” said chef José Andrés. “We are honored to have these great chefs join us here in Washington and help us continue the fight against hunger.”
Share Our Strength was founded in 1984 in response to the Ethiopian famine. Since that time, more than half a billion dollars have been invested in the United States and around the world to fight hunger.
