This Weekend: JLW’s Tossed & Found

The arrival of Spring in our nation’s capital means that it’s time for the annual Tossed and Found Rummage Sale, hosted by the Junior League of Washington, which takes place at a new location in Crystal City ( 251 18th Street South, 5th Floor, Arlington, VA 22202) on March 22 – 24.

found3The non-profit’s largest Spring fundraiser, Tossed & Found is a high-end discard sale that features tens of thousands of valuable items at spectacularly low prices donated by many of the JLW’s 2,300 members, plus friends and community partners.  Shoppers will nab quality pre-owned designer items, fashions, clothing, jewelry, furniture, housewares, books, electronics, sporting goods — and much more — and the proceeds will benefit the JLW’s efforts to support women, children and literacy initiatives in the region.found5

Since its inception in 1993, Tossed & Found has provided over $1.3 million to the JLW’s volunteer training programs, literacy initiatives, and targeted grants program. So don’t miss the opportunity to snag a fabulous deal and help your community!  And hurry in for the best bargains, though nothing will be tossed aside: Any unsold merchandise will be donated to local charities and those in need.
