Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Still Looking for Halloween Happenings Tonight?!

It’s Halloween!  And the scariest part is that you still haven’t made plans.  But we can’t let you zombie out without some great ghoulish last minute options.  So here’s some of our picks for still available All Hallows Eve happenings:

Musical: Go six feet under into the Sphinx Club for a Haunted Hunt featuring local bands White Ford Bronco and Sick Feed, along with DJ Esso.  $20 for cash bar tickets, or dish out only $69 for the full experience with open bar.

Charitable: P.O.V. Lounge at the W Washington D.C. hotel is hosting its third annual Halloween Social benefiting the Washington Humane Society, beginning at 8pm, featuring live performances by DJ Ghost and DJ Philipz, craft cocktails, and a costume contest in which the person with the best costume will win a W Washington D.C. sleepover package! $40 to attend.

Undressed: For a Burlesque Haunted Halloween, The Brixton transforms its second floor lounge into a Haunted House, all sponsored by Red Bull and Absolut.

Disoriented: Follow the crazy maze of the Mansion on O for its Mansion Halloween Costume Party — which boasts its usual essential chocolate fountain.  $30
