Newseum Nights!

newseumDoes anybody even go to museums during the day anymore??

The Newseum is the latest to get in on the after hours culture craze, introducing Newseum Nights!  An “after-hours party” at the city’s only museum dedicated solely to news, these events invite you to get up close and personal with some of the Newseum’s most popular exhibits.

Listen in on gallery talks with museum curators, win prizes by answering questions on social media, and express yourself in a special “create your own Berlin Wall” experience in our glass elevators.  Of course there will be a Newseum Nights selfie station to create a lasting memory of the evening!

The first in the new series is “Newseum Nights: Game On,” on Thursday, July 30, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.  Tickets include an open beer and wine bar, free ballpark themed snacks, a DJ, and access to the Newseum’s exhibits and galleries, including an exclusive first look at “Nationals at 10: Baseball Makes News” before the exhibit opens to the public.
