Need Quick Dinner Ideas? Check Out This New Service We Found

IMG_1180Let’s dish on dinner… or lunch if your brown bag game is getting pretty grim.   Last month, a new chef made meal delivery service launched in DC, and, after trying it myself, I think it’s something you should know about.

It’s called Munchery.

Unlike some other meal delivery options, you won’t be learning — or even pretending to show off — any culinary skills.  These pre-packaged meals come ready to heat and enjoy… but not frozen and iced over like that Lean Cuisine you keep taking to work for lunch or that thing you were thinking of thawing to eat tonight.IMG_1204

Shop for the week or by the meal, and have it dropped right at your door.  You choose a one hour delivery window.  (And yes, it comes on time, every time.)  Your Munchery (wo)man will even text you to alert you that they’re nearby.

Portion size is generous.  Prices range from $7-14 (I paid less than $12 for a whole scrumptious chicken!!).  Meals are fresh, and menu items are updated daily.  Just heat and eat. Membership offers additional discounts (if you’re planning to order more than a few meals a month).

Use this code to receive $20 off your first Munchery meals!

*In the interest of full disclosure, a free trial of Munchery was offered in order to share my experience.  I have since continued a paid membership and am enjoying Munchery meals regularly.
