Wednesday afternoon, restaurateurs, nightlife moguls, mixologists, sommeliers and some other after lunch lushes attended the 2012 Moet Hennessy Winemaker Tour at The Occidental, where brand winemakers gave Washingtonians a taste of their flavors from around the world.

ABC 7’s Cynne Simpson and Jummy Olabanji, The Park’s Mark Barnes, 94.7’s Tommy McFly, Marvin’s Sheldon Scott, Cities’ Seyhan Duru, Mie N Yu’s Mike Cherner, W Hotel’sWil Lee and Againn Gastro Pub’s Jaime Lang joined other hospitality honchos for private wine seminars, complimentary spirits and new taste samples like New Zealand’s Cloudy Bay Te Koko, France’s Chateau de Sancerre’s Cuvee du Connetable, Napa Valley’s Chandon Etoile Brut and Spain’s Numanthia Termanthia.

After all — it’s always 5 o’clock somewhere!
