Art and Soul Welcomes Washingtonians Back Post Renovation w/ New Menu, Old Favorites, & a Dinner Deal

Art and Soul has reopened, refreshed after a one-month renovation.  But while the place may be shinier, and the Chef may be skinnier… you’ll still be just as tempted to try ALL the treats.
Let’s move past the new herringbone wood floors, textured walls, and unique artwork, to get to the only part that really matters — the new menu.
Don’t be surprised by new family-style sections like “For the Table” and “Pots” and shareable entrees like Seafood Gumbo and Duck and Rice Bean Stew.  Just try some new bar snacks (read: Cajun Boudin Balls, Scotch Eggs, and Fried Pickled Green Tomatoes)! before tucking into your tasted-and-true favorites (Fried Free Range Chicken and Waffles, Shrimp & Grits — and that Bacon Corn Bread (baked and served in a tin can)) that Chef Art Smith promises will always be staple offerings.

To top it off, they’re granting your wishes with a special Welcome Back dinner deal!  Beginning March 4-17, taste the new noshes with a three-course $35 dinner option.
