Score FREE Entry to The National Museum of Women in the Arts

It’s called Museum Day Live!

This is the day when nationwide museums and cultural institutions — that aren’t otherwise free to enter — offer gratis admission.  One of our favorites,  The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA), will be free of charge on Saturday, September 24, as part of this Smithsonian magazine’s program.

To score free entry, all you have to do is present a Museum Day Live! ticket, available to download here, at a participating museum or cultural institution.

Visitors who present the ticket will gain free entrance for two at NMWA and other participating venues for one day only. One ticket is permitted per household, per email address. Again, tickets are required.

During this promotion, NMWA proudly presents special exhibition Alison Saar In Printwhich includes an array of Saar’s prints from throughout her career.  But you should take this opportunity to also visit NMWA’s collection.

The National Museum of Women in the Arts (1250 New York Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20005) is open 9/24 from 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
