Colorectal Cancer Alliance 12th Annual Blue Hope Bash
The Washington region’s most generous allies will join together in-person for an evening in blue when the Colorectal Cancer Alliance hosts its annual Blue Hope Bash gala on Saturday, October 29. The event will be an all-out Bash affair, as the Alliance celebrates its full return after two years in a virtual gathering and will raise funds to support the organization’s efforts to increase prevention awareness, support patients and their families, and accelerate critical research. This year’s fundraising goal is $2 million, and since the event’s inception in 2010, it has raised more than $12 million.
The evening will feature live entertainment, a live auction, and the popular Porsche car raffle.
The Blue Hope Bash event series is the signature fundraiser of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance. The Bash occurs in cities across America to celebrate survivorship and remember loved ones.

BASH EMCEES: Craig Melvin (News Anchor, NBC News’ TodayCo-Host, 3rd Hour of NBC News’ Today, Alliance Board of Directors Member) and wife Lindsay Czarinak (American Sports Broadcaster). In 2017, Craig shared on the Today Show his connection with the disease after his brother Lawrence was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer at age 39. Melvin has been an active supporter and ally of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance – he sits on their Board of Directors and has emceed the Bash for the past six years.

This evening of hope, inspiration, and celebration will feature a welcome reception, notable VIPs, dinner, live auction, an after party and other elements such as:
