Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. iTunes and Pandora beware!  Grooveshark.com, a not so new service, is ramping up its reach.  

Sure, it sounds like Napster in the good old days – with a recommendation system built in – but (for now anyway) Grooveshark allows you to listen to any track available without paying a dime.  Listen in on your computer for zilch, or… make an on-the-go playlist on your smartphone (via the Grooveshark Anywhere app) for a monthly subscription of only $9.  
Something new to sink your (shark) teeth into!
