Last Thursday, VIDA Penthouse Pool & Lounge at The Yards opened its doors and revealed an enjoyable sophisticated atmosphere with a complimentary breath-taking view of DC’s Southeast Riverfront. Earlier in the night guests could also on look performances from the Trapeze School of New York and National’s Stadium.

VIDA’s Penthouse Pool & Lounge offers a panoramic view of the nation’s Capitol, a heated pool, rentable cabanas and daybeds, a full-service bar, and an intimate lounge area equipped with fire pits.

VIDA founder and owner David Von Storch joined the fun, welcoming a packed crowd with gourmet fare from the penthouse pool club menu, designed by celebrity chef Spike Mendelsohn. Partygoers posed for pictures in the event’s photo booth and listened to live music provided by DJ Finn, as the sun set on the over 10,000 square foot rooftop.

VIDA’s upscale design of sleek and modern architecture set a contemporary vibe as guests sipped specialty VIDA Tequila cocktails, relishing in the members-only rooftop oasis.

The menu is suited to either a full meal or a happy hour snack including a variety of finger foods and eclectic small plates from crab cakes to pineapple guacamole.

From a couples date out, to a fun girls night, this rooftop is an up-and-coming hot spot that puts a modern twist on the typical rooftop pool.
