Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). K Street Kate caught up with DC local author Cathy Alter at her book signing and beauty party at the Alchimie Forever showroom in Georgetown Tuesday night. In “Up for Renewal,” Alter changed her life with tips from some of the top lifestyle magazines. Now she passes on some of those tips to fashion victim Jessica Simpson – and suggests some subscriptions for Simpson’s own renewal.
