Toro, Toro: Bites for the Bullfighter in YOU

Richard Sandoval is racking up the restaurants of late, announcing yet another DC destination to open this March near McPherson Square.

Toro Toro, a play on both the Japanese word for tuna and the Spanish word for bull is to be a Pan Latin steakhouse concept — and a sister restaurant to a similar Sandoval spot in Dubai.   Hot and cold small plates likes arepas and ceviches, steaks served a la carte and savory side images (1)dishes are meant for sharing, in addition to Toro Toro’s “Rodizio Experience,” which features unlimited amounts of grilled meats carved tableside.

Guests will dine on gold leather tufted couches, or experience nibbles and cocktails on velvet upholstered lounge seating with cowhide accents, all while surrounded by black marble floors, a sculptural metal cage toro-toro-restaurantstaircase, and horn wall accents… until they head downstairs from late night dancing after dinner.

But you’ll catch us there on the weekends.  Endless eats and free-flowing cocktails take center stage every Saturday and Sunday during the restaurant’s bottomless brunch.

*Toro Toro will be located at 1300 I Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20005
