The HERE and Now

Location, location, location.  Hyper-local is becoming a habit.

And geographic area could be the key to the American Dream according to Think Local First DC, an organization started by DC entrepreneurs, which launched Wednesday night at Eatonville, a locally owned restaurant on 14th Street.  Dedicated to helping local companies with seminars, workshops and small business support groups, the non-profit’s leadership explained to those in attendance that it plans to stimulate sustainable start-ups within the confines of the District.

“By helping local businesses, we help our city and ultimately, our economy,” said Executive Director, Trisha Clauson to a room full of support from local business owners who are already living the American Dream by doing what they love – while giving back to the community.
