Spotted in Town: Springsteen Guitarist Nils Lofgren

Lead guitarist for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.Guitarist, Nils Lofgren played a special private concert performance for supporters of the Boomer Esiason Foundation at an American University auditorium Tuesday evening.

The singer/songwriter, who has also played with such greats as Neil Young, Ringo Starr, Branford Marsalis, Willie Nelson, Graham Nash, David Crosby and Cab Calloway, strummed and sang in partnership with medical experts, business leaders and volunteers working to heighten awareness, education and quality of life for those affected by cystic fibrosis.

*The Boomer Esiason Foundation was founded in 1993, by former NFL quarterback and television and radio sports personality, Boomer Esiason, after his son, Gunnar, was diagnosed with CF.
