Ann Compton, veteran ABC News White House Correspondent, was presented with the CQ Roll Call Anniversary Year Award, while guests enjoyed an incredible spread of passed hors d’oeuvres and sweets– from French macaroons to lamb kebabs and more, sponsored by Southern Company, Citi and T-Mobile.

“There’s no doubt about it– women are changing the game in Washington, now more than ever,” Ms. Story Dittus told K Street Magazine. “In journalism, we’re seeing more women setting the political conversation and covering the most critical events and people across the globe. It’s important that we honor these extraordinary contributions; that’s why we hosted an event that both highlights talented women in journalism and kicks off one of Washington’s most buzzworthy and action-packed weekends of the year.”
