Luigi Parasmo Salon Receives Flood of First Anniversary Toasts

The traditional first anniversary gift is paper, but it was the scissors in that classic game of roshambo that were getting all of the attention Monday night as hairstylist Luigi Parasmo celebrated the first birthday of his eponymous salon in Georgetown.

Parasmo, who was joined by co-owner Javier Calvo and a of set of stylists from the salon, hosted some 150 Washingtonians — many long-time clientele — who braved flash floods to attend the fête.

Guests offered a champagne toast to the anniversary as they talked hairstyles of the stars (Parasmo has styled runway shows for the likes of Diane von Furstenberg, Valentino, Armani and Versace) and grooved to a live DJ set from Steve Starks of Nouveau Riche.
