Redskins’ #88 Whites the Night for DC’s Boys & Girls Clubs

Some 250 friends and fans joined Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garçon as he hosted his inaugural “white” party charity event late last week at The Millennium Building.  Joined by co-Host retired MayorRedskins running back Clinton Portis, and teammates like Robert Griffin III, Alfred Morris, Kirk Cousins, Jarvis Jenkins, Brandon Merriweather, Brian Orakpo, Santana Moss and Doug Worthington, in addition to coaches Kyle Shanahan and Mike McDaniel, #88 called the night a success for raising $30,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington.

Attendees — including Mayor Vincent Gray, NFLPA Executive Director Demaurice Smith, and Atlanta rapper Lil Jon — were careful not to spill passed hors d’oeuvres and complimentary cocktails on their white attire as they danced to live music and bid on auction items like a Washington Nationals or Washington Redskins Dream Experience and a helmet signed by Garçon, Robert Griffin III and Alfred Morris.
