Apparently there’s more to GCDC than grilled cheese. While the place has literally made its named off the ultimate in grilled and gooey goodness, DC’s go-to for GC insists there’s a chance for it to get even cheesier.
Enter the cheese course — but not the type you pair with wine… or decide on instead of dessert! Instead, GCDC is launching a series of cheese classes this Fall, ranging from Cheese 101 (basics for novices, hosted every Monday beginning in September) to Mozzarella-Making (first and third Wednesdays of the month). You can even expect a Big Cheese — international cheesemonger Carlos Yescas, the preeminent expert on Mexican artisan cheese — who’s coming as a special guest. $40 per person.
