Summer is in full swing, and if you haven’t yet had time to hone that bathing suit body, Georgetown has just the thing!
Since early June, The Georgetown Business Improvement District (BID) has been offering FREE weekly outdoor fitness classes called: Sunset Fitness in the Park. Classes continue through August 31st, from 6-7 PM Wednesdays, as over 40+ studios and athletic specialty stores in Georgetown will feature everything from yoga, barre and Pilates to running clubs, and cycling.
- When: Every Wednesday evening June 1 through August 31; hour long sessions begin at 6 p.m.
- Where: Georgetown Waterfront Park near the intersection of Potomac Street and K Street (Water Street).
- What: FREE one-hour outdoor fitness classes hosted by Georgetown yoga, barre and other fitness studios.
- How: Registration is encouraged as classes will be capped at 100.
Bottled water and snacks will be provided from Georgetown restaurants, but you’ll need to bring your own yoga mat. A full schedule and registration link can be found here.
