Capital City Ball: A Capital Idea

Beautiful socials in their black tie best gathered at the historic Washington Club Saturday evening for the annual Capital City Ball.

The live band/open bar/dinner and dessert buffet event served to benefit Courtney’s House, Fair Fund and the Polaris Project – all organizations which support the fight against human trafficking and modern day slavery.

Among the notables in attendance were Alezandra Russell, who started her own non-profit for abused youth, The Recycled Child Project; Kate-Marie Grinold, Fair Fund’s Development Director, who took Human Trafficking to Miss America as her contestant platform in 2009, and Yemen’s Ambassador to the United States, Abdulwahab Al-Hajjri.
