Who Wanted The Who??

At Hudson‘s annual “Owner’s Suite” Super Bowl party, the Saints were this year’s clear favorites on the field, but The Who were overwhelmingly benched.

“I’m cheering for the Saints because they need it,” said Arthur (Skip) Henderson, a Saints fan. “It’s time for something positive to happen for that city… and everyone should win a Superbowl once.”

But while everyone might deserve a go at the goalposts, attendees agreed that everyone should not get the chance to play the halftime show.

“Can’t someone from our generation be the halftime entertainment?” asked nightclub promoter, Walid Karim.

The ladies at Hudson suggested it should have, instead, been Katie Perry, a high-profile pin-up pretty that piques more interest than most of the Superbowl’s celebrated commercials.

“Who wanted The Who?” asked sexology author-in-attendance Yvonne Fulbright. “Katie Perry is an energetic force right now, and quality entertainment. But if not her, than maybe Lady Gaga. At least if either one of them had a wardrobe malfunction it would draw more attention than The Who.”
