Vintage Virginia®, a great summer tradition, is a must see for everyone from newbies to foodies. There will be over 250 different wines from 25 + Virginia wineries. The festival will return to Bull Run Regional Park Saturday, June 2nd from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Sunday, June 3rd from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
For those athletic attendees we have added The Northern Virginia Wine Run on Sunday June 3rd at 9:30 a.m. Entry fee is $49 in advance and includes: Entry into the race, souvenir t-shirt, souvenir glass, unlimited wine tasting from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and live music. VIP tickets are $59 in advance.

SweatCon Rally flips the script on a bar crawl and instead of drinking 175 participants will sweat at boutique fitness studios around the city. Completing three thirty minute classes at three different studios back-to-back-to-back. From Dupont Circle to Shaw we’ve partnered with 15 of the hottest boutique studios including Corepower Yoga, Solidcore, Cut Seven, Orangetheory, and Cyclebar.
Prior to kicking off the work outs, we will throw a kick-ass check-in party featuring like-minded brands to create a unique experience for all attendees. This year the new 880P will host the check-in party with a GLAMSQUAD braid bar, sweetgreen salad bar, juice bar by JRINK, animated GIF booth courtesy ofMINDBODY, DJ and shopping courtesy of our title sponsor Reebok. Each participant will receive a complimentary event tank top as well as a swag filled with goodies from RX Bar, Progenex, High Brew Coffee, Vita Coco and more.
Over the last three years we have put on three SweatCon Rally events in Boston. The first hosting 30 people, then 200 and the most recent event with 450 participates (selling out in five days with a waitlist of 250 people). Building off the success of Boston we knew it was time to bring this event to more cities. This spring came to Boston (4/28), New York (5/12) and now Washington, D.C. (6/16).

Museum visitors can revel in the extra hours of daylight and reflect on American unity with “America Now: Solstice Edition” on Saturday, June 23. This special evening of festivities is a three-museum collaboration between the National Museum of American History, National Portrait Gallery and Smithsonian American Art Museum. Now in its fourth year, the tri-institutional partnership of “America Now” will coincide for the first time with a full Smithsonian-wide Solstice celebration.
“America Now: Solstice Edition” is free to the public and open to general audiences; drinks and food will be available for purchase at each location. More information at AmericaNow.si.edu.

Continuing the festivities, the Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery will host an array of activities across art and performance. Guests will be welcomed by an outdoor Community Block Party composed of food trucks, lawn games and craft-making activities with local artists organized in collaboration with Made in DC. They can connect with representatives from the Downtown BID, Woolly Mammoth Theater Company, Shakespeare Theater Company and Fresh Farm Farmer’s Market. Visitors can then cool off at a boutique-designed Beer Garden inside the Robert and Arlene Kogod Courtyard, have their portraits done by a Washington-based caricature artist and explore the Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery’s exhibitions throughout the first floor. “America Now” will conclude with dancing to the sounds of DJ Ayes Cold and a major live concert by Ruby Velle and the Soulphonics, and Washington’s own Oddisee.
“America Now” is a three-museum collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery, National Museum of American History and Smithsonian American Art Museum. It is made possible by the support of the Robert and Arlene Kogod Family Foundation. The Washington Post is the media sponsor of America Now. This year’s celebration is part of a Smithsonian’s “Solstice Saturday” program done in association with the “By the People Festival,” led by Halcyon. This Fourth of July, Washingtonians and out-of-towners are invited to the Kimpton Mason & Rook Hotel rooftop bar for a patriotic holiday BBQ hosted by Executive Chef Jonathan Dearden and the Radiator team! The neighborhood rooftop provides a festive gathering place with 360-degree views of the nation’s capital spanning from the buzzing 14th Street corridor to the tip of the Washington Monument.
