Washingtonian Style Setters Soiree

Washingtonian Magazine toasted its annual group of chosen Style Setters with a rooftop soiree at Lost Society Wednesday evening.
“We used to call this ‘Best Dressed,’ but so often fashion can be just about what people are wearing, and our Style Setters are recognized for more than that,” said Washingtonian’s Fashion Editor (and thus the ultimate Style Setter) Jill Hudson Neal in a nod to the thirteen locals selected both for trendsetting abilities and knack for making their own personal statement.

“My signature look is probably a suit with cowboy boots,” shared Terre Jones, President of Wolftrap and among those honored during the evening. And another Setter, Ridgewells’ CEO Susan Lacz: “I like to make a statement, to really stand out in a sea of black.”
Despite the limited number of annointed “stylish,” everyone amped up their outfits for the soiree – both for pictures and to compete with the Style Setter personalities.  Guests not only enjoyed cocktails, but also got to try out some cosmetics, cologne and couture courtesy of Neiman Marcus in Chevy Chase.
