Some of Washington’s most notable athletes traded in their practice sweats for Brimble & Clark suits Saturday night as DC gathered for the 5th Annual Walk This Way Fashion Event at the Embassy of Italy.
Four-time Olympian Sanya Richards-Ross (Track and Field) and Two-time Olympian Giuseppe Lanzone (Team USA Rower) were joined on the runway by NFLers Kirk Cousins, Pierre Garçon, Fred Davis, Kai Forbath, Jameel McClain, and MLSer Dwayne de Rosario, along with so many more sporting fashion for the cause — this year, Becky’s Fund’s “Men of Code” program, which works with high school athletes and coaches to raise awareness through preventative education surrounding domestic violence.
Guests, including 2013 Miss Pacific Asian American Emily Duong, Former NFL New York Giant Aaron Ross and Professional Boxer Kejean Stone, feasted on Italian delights as they eyed the men — and accompanying women (who wore Gomez-Gracia) — and supported the event’s $87,000+ fundraising totals.
