VIP: Inside the National Law Enforcement Museum Groundbreaking Gala

The National Law Enforcement Museum Groundbreaking Gala took place Thursday evening at the National Building Museum. VIPs from the government and the private sector showed up — along with some other heroic characters.

Alicia Jolla, Susan Hartman and Dustee Tucker were among the sponsor VIPs at the Gala, which followed the groundbreaking ceremony and educational event earlier in the day.

Rocky Delmonaco, Eileen Parise and A. Aguilar were on hand to support the new 55,000-square-foot, mostly underground museum located adjacent to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC’s Judiciary Square.

Marcus Jones and Edward Hutchison were looking forward to meeting some of their favorite “Law & Order” actors at the evening’s Gala.

Marcello Muzzatti, Betty Balister and Joe Bersichini were among the first to check out the plans for the high-tech, interactive exhibits and collections of the new museum.

Craig Floyd, the museum’s Chaiman and CEO, speaks at the VIP reception.

Sheriff David Goad and Lieutenant Greg Robertson were among the officers proudly wearing their Class A uniforms.

Liz B., Josh H., and Kate M. caught a first glimpse of the museum’s exhibits and collections.

Law enforcement vehicles of old — representing every branch — lined the streets surrounding the National Building Museum.
