Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Kitchen + Kocktails with Kevin Kelley

Restauranteur Kevin Kelley is bringing his sophisticated brand of southern comfort and soul food to DC this June. After successful openings in Dallas and Chicago, the capital is next to experience Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley which will open in downtown DC  at 1300 I Street NW — the old Toro Toro space — on June 16, 2023.

Get excited about classics like Fried Chicken, Fried Catfish, Pork Chops and Chicken Fried Steak paired with Black Eyed Peas, Collard Greens, and Candied Yams. You’ll also be tempted to taste Kelley’s nods to Cajun and Caribbean cultures with items like Seafood Gumbo, Jerk Chicken Noodle Soup, Fish and Grits and Blackened Shrimp.

Apart from the mouthwatering menu, Kitchen + Kocktails will have a private area — “Asset Lounge” — available after regular dining room hours with special signature cocktails. And we hear there will be a flower wall for pictures that is not to be missed!

Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley will be open Monday – Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
