Inside the 2nd Annual Runway Moms for a Cause

A packed house kicked off a Mother’s Day weekend while also helping a great cause Friday night at Runway Moms for a Cause — a runway show for philanthropists to take a stance on issues that affect children in America and abroad while lending a helping hand towards a solution. image

This 2nd annual event served to benefit Kidsave, a DC-based 501c3 organization with the mission to create change so forgotten orphanage and foster kids grow up in families and are connected to caring adults. The 2014 event featured stylist/author Lauren Rothman as event emcee, and welcomed over 200 guests to participate in a silent auction, raffle and runway show.

But the best part of the evening likely was the gaggle of little girls modeling gowns in a children’s runway presentation by Elizabeth St. John Couture.
