MET’s “Inebriated Holiday” Is the Drunk Performance Art We All Need This Holiday

Tempted to get sauced before seeing Uncle — and Aunt — at your family’s Thanksgiving feast? Well, that’s a different type of Inebriated Holiday.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre‘s “Inebriated Holiday” may bring you a lot less post-holiday regret, though we’re assured there will be equal theatrics. In fact, Director, Laura Stark claims “This the BEST HOLIDAY SHOW YOU WILL EVER SEE!”

MET is toasting the holiday season with an original theatrical experience that combines the excitement of live theatre with the hilarity of inebriation. Read: Some of your favorite holiday stories will be told on screen by actors imbibing in holiday cheer, while a team of actors bring those antics to life on stage.

MET Ensemble members and those often seen in its Comedy Night shows will entertain (warning – there will undoubtedly be mature themes and strong language!) as you sit back with a drink (or two) and listen to holiday classics recreated in a way that you have never heard or seen before.

And at least this drunk performance art shouldn’t lead to any family drama.

Inebriated Holiday ($15- 36) opens on Friday, December 1, and runs through Saturday, December 23 with a $15 preview night on Thursday, November 30. Curtain is at 8:00pm Thursday – Saturday and 3:00pm on Sunday matinees. The show runs approximately one hour and 45 minutes, with one 15 minute intermission.
