Glover Park Gets a Clean Slate… Wine Bar & Bistro

Because you’ve been meaning to remodel your Kitchen (2404)… Introducing the new Slate Wine Bar & Bistro, which opened in Kitchen’s old space in Glover Park this summer while the city was sleeping off its humidity hangover.

The Bar/Bistro features a variety of gourmet that goes great with a glass of red or white: like Steak Frites, Cajun Chicken & Chorizo Pasta, and of course, plates chock full o’cheese.

But while nice nosh is always appreciated in this neighborhood, the best part about this brand new French(esque) bistro is the return of the space to its earlier great grape adventures (It was one of the first spots in DC to feature DIY wine dispensers when it was Ceviche so long ago).

First time restauranteur Elizabeth Banker is all about opening a great pour house… literally taking it to another level.

That’s right, you’ll have to dine down.  The second floor is reserved for drinkers only.

*Slate Bar & Bistro is located at 2404 Wisconsin Ave. NW in Glover Park.
