Unfortunately a quick stop on a busy night, the Georgetown House Tour Patron’s Party is now a K Street Kate annual tradition.
The Patron’s party was the grand idea of the one-and-only Mrs. Frida Burling, who at 93 years young has her hands in more community and philanthropy activities than any of us could ever hope to! It is a celebration in appreciation of the owners who have allowed their homes to be on the tour and of those volunteers who work so hard to make the day a beautiful and successful one.
This year’s party was held at St. John’s church adjacent to the DC Design House (which is the church rectory). The DC Design House showcaes the talents of 15 area designers to benefit Children’s National Medical Center. Our favorite room may have been the library, designed by Sarah Wessel.
