The AprilMay Foundation is an organization that uses unconventional means to bring awareness to sexual abuse of women – and assist survivors in their healing process. The teal ribbon is a symbol of AprilMay’s work in community outreach, education, awareness and fundraising, because there is a survivor in every victim.
Some of AprilMay’s unconventional methods include their Art of Peace project, which encourages survivors to express their feelings through art, the Silence is Overrated teen art project, and other upcoming advocacy events, including a unique event coming up this April. Save the date for April 7th!
