Ben’s Chili Now Available At Giant Foods

You can now get your iconic DC Chili and Half Smokes at Giant.

Stores in Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware are now carrying a variety of Ben’s Chili Bowl favorites, including Ben’s Chili Bowl’s Original and Spicy Half Smokes, Chili Con Carne, and Turkey Chili in Giant Food’s prepared food sections and hot bars.

“We’ve been blessed to serve our beloved… community for nearly 65 years, and in all that time we never expected to sell our products at the retail level,” Virginia Ali, co-founder of Ben’s Chili Bowl, said in a release.

So this marks the first chili retail distribution partnership for Ben’s, an inter-generational family business and local landmark in the DC community, whose secret family recipes have been a staple for over 64 years.

Pro tip: Giant also carries Ben’s secret Chili Sauce, which can’t be bought anywhere else.
