Wonder Food Hall Coming to DC, Starting with 14th Street Flagship

A new food concept is making its way to the District this summer. Wonder, a fast-growing food hall and delivery service with roots in the Northeast, is opening a flagship location at 1925 14th Street NW, right in the heart of one of DC’s busiest dining corridors.

This marks the start of Wonder’s rollout across the DC metro area, with additional locations planned for Rosslyn, West End, College Park, Cleveland Park, Reston, and Franconia later this year.

Wonder claims that it isn’t a traditional food hall— instead, it’s part dine-in space, part delivery hub, and part culinary mash-up. The company brings together a lineup of nationally recognized chefs like José Andrés, a familiar name in DC, along with Bobby Flay, Nancy Silverton, and Marcus Samuelsson. It also features beloved spots from across the country, like Di Fara Pizza, Tejas Barbeque, and SriPraPhai.

Diners can mix and match dishes from different chefs and restaurants all in one order—whether they’re grabbing a table, picking up on the way home, or getting delivery in under 30 minutes. Wonder controls the entire process—from food prep to dispatch—using its own couriers instead of third-party apps.

And there’s more! In the District, Wonder is partnering with DC Central Kitchen, a longtime local nonprofit known for using food as a tool for workforce development and community health. The partnership will support job training and local hiring as Wonder sets up shop in the area.

Expect more announcements—and some neighborhood pop-ups—as locations begin opening throughout the summer and into the fall.
