Fairmont & Veuve Clicquot Gear Up For Champagne Celebration In Georgetown
Washington is revving up for a historic lap around the National Mall, and the celebration is starting early with a little French flair.
In honor of the inaugural Freedom 250 Grand Prix, the first-ever NTT INDYCAR SERIES race to take place in the nation’s capital, Fairmont Washington, DC, Georgetown is teaming up with iconic Champagne house Veuve Clicquot for a limited-time pop-up experience bringing elevated sips and savory pairings to one of the city’s most elegant settings.
From August 14 through August 23, guests can enjoy the Fairmont x Veuve Clicquot Pop-Up Share and Pair in the hotel’s lush Courtyard, Lobby Bar, and Loggia from 11 am to 11 pm daily.

The experience transforms the spaces with signature Veuve Clicquot décor, bistro-style seating, and photo-worthy moments. (Who doesn’t love that iconic vibrant golden-orange?!)
Executive Pastry Chef Jaime Montes de Oca and the Fairmont culinary team have crafted a menu that pairs perfectly with a glass of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, including Chesapeake oysters topped with cauliflower mousse and caviar ($35), a Maine lobster temaki with avocado and cucumber ($32), and a Roseda Farm burger layered with garlic chili mayonnaise, crispy pancetta, and aged cheddar ($45).
For those looking to elevate the experience, guests can swap their Champagne selection for Veuve Clicquot RICH or Veuve Clicquot RICH Rosé, served over ice with fresh strawberries for an additional touch of summer sophistication.
Race cars may be speeding past some of the country’s most iconic landmarks, but the Fairmont pop-up offers a more leisurely way to join the festivities. Sounds like… winning.
